Infoware Announces Integration Partnership with NetDocuments
Word LX™ legal document creation software and NetDocuments integration enables single workflow with cloud platform
Toronto, ON– February 10, 2022, – Infoware, today announces a technology integration between Word LX, its leading legal document software and NetDocuments, the world’s #1 trusted cloud platform where legal professionals do work. With this integration, legal professionals can enjoy the combined capabilities of Word LX and NetDocuments to increase productivity and improve document quality. Integration is seamless and boosts productivity when it comes to creation, organization, and storage of valuable client documents.
Law firms already using Word LX can streamline their document creation process and simplify their document versioning process using NetDocuments. Documents created using Word LX can be stored and organized around matters and projects in NetDocuments. Word LX users can quickly locate and securely access these documents at any time using NetDocuments’ advanced search capabilities.
Word LX is a template management and document automation solution that helps law firms improve efficiency and document quality. Word LX is a Microsoft® Word add-in that provides sophisticated formatting and editing tools that were designed specifically for legal document creation.
“The Word LX Doc ID tool that integrates with NetDocuments is a significant value-add which provides us with the ability to customize the format, placement, and information we want to include in our Doc ID,” stated Sherri Thom, IT Director, Stewart McKelvey.
Many law firms want to have more control over their Doc ID to support their document workflow practices and standards. The Word LX integration with NetDocuments allows law firms the ability to customize the format of the Doc ID. For example, with Word LX, law firms can customize their Doc ID to include the last saved date for the document, the author’s name, Client ID, Matter ID and more. Some large law firms that use multiple libraries in NetDocuments can also add the library name for more clarity.
This integration also gives users control over where the Doc ID is inserted based on the type of document they are working on. For example, suppressing the insertion of the Doc ID on specific pages of a document may be necessary because of the location of footers, firm contact information or other branding elements that may be present in the document.
IT Director Thom concluded: “Both NetDocuments and Word LX are critical applications our users rely on every day to efficiently service our clients.”
